KIHON GUMITE - HAPPONME  

 

Attack:

Step forward into right stance. Lunge forward with right Tsukkomi Chudan.

Adjust the feet and punch with Gyakuzuki Jodan.

Defence:

Step back into right stance. Slide left leg to the right and cover the attack with right inside forearm glancing block.

Step to the left with the left leg remaining in right stance and block with right forearm.

Moving forward, slide with the right foot and strike with one knuckle fist into the inside of the attacker’s front leg.

Slide forward again; strike with Empi to the ribs with your right elbow.

Position your right foot close to attackers front knee, strike double Shuto to attackers arm (Breaking the arm or wrist).

Push with your right knee so that the attacker’s stance is broken.
